The Winter Gardens Hosted it's 36th British Homing Pigeon World Show of the Year,
the convention provides a welcome boost for hoteliers and businesses in the resort. as in January here is always a lull in trade after the Christmas period
The show attracted many visitors with fanciers from as far away as New Zealand and the USA flying in.
There are prizes for several categories of pigeons and there are also auctions of birds and the chance to buy pigeon related products.
All profits from the events are donated to the Pigeon Association's nomination charities.
